I am wondering if it is possible to find the plugin on the foot pedal of a Pfaff Tiptronic 2020

Probably so, however, if may be easier to find a replacement for the ailing part. You may need to search for a donor machine or a foot control that matches your machine. You can also try replacing the entire foot control with a new replacement item.

Can I get a wiring diagram for a foot pedal 4C-316 B?

foot pedals are basically a variable resistor and if it is not working the problem may be in the wiring to the pedal. If it is sealed unit containing a transistorised control the a replacement unit will be the best idea.. Take the control to a machine mechanic and have it tested .

I think there might be something wrong with the foot control of my Janome Memory Craft 3000, since the machine wont go when I press the pedal with my foot, but if I jiggle the connection where the cord...

Most likely, a replacement foot control would be the best option. I found one on Amazon for less than $60. Although, perhaps it is the actual plug in the machine that is sloppy--something that could probably repaired by the local sewing machine repair shop. FWIW, purchasing a new replacement machine will be more expensive. However, if you are hankering for a machine with more options, etc., then maybe not. IMHO, the older machines are usually better. It would be wise to check out the price of current machines on the market before making a decision.

Where can I purchase Necchi Lydia 3 foot control

Or use their contact page

Then ask where you can get one.

The foot control you use should be readily available at any sewing machine parts supply source. There are models that range in USD from $35.00 to 69.00 for the replacement foot control.

I would look in the yellow pages under sewing machines and parts for a local replacement source not being concerned about brand name when it comes to a foot control other than like connections.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Fo4--What does it mean and where do I find the translations?

F04 is foot control error. It is probably a bad foot control, but it may be the plug in on the machine or a circuit board.

You can run the machine without a foot control for now; just unplug the foot control from the machine and use the Start/Stop button like you would when embroidering.

Before replacing the foot control, you should bring the machine to a Brother shop and try a new control. If the new one works, then the control was the problem.

Bernina Activa 130/131

Because you say all was working for a while before this latest event, it will be the supressor that has failed, they are generally in the foot control (some machines have them in the main body near the power inlet) and it needs to be removed, it only stops interference to Radio & TV and is not necessary for correct function...............your nose will tell you if it is in foot pedal or inside the machine..

Unplug from mains, undo cover/s and find the electronic looking item which is cracked, burnt & probably oozing brown goo and smelling like burned plastic only worse.... Simply remove this from the circuit, clean the region with some denatured spirit, methanol or similar, wait until completely dry and re-assemble....this should fix the problem of the machine "running on" by itself....as to whether you have done a good job of the initial electrical repair, only you will know that.

By the way, how's the dog ? Guess the machine was not plugged in at the time !!
