Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

1 Answer

Motorola RAZR V3 Cellular

The screen lights up as normal on power-up but then flickers and goes off, as far as I can tell the phone is still on but with no display at all. Can just bin it but want the infomation off it. Would it help to connect to a PC? Really sad.. :(

You do not need to bin the phone.

you just need to replace the screen/lcd

Motorola RAZR V3 Cellular Phone

You have to re-install the phone software buddy.
Get it to a repair center. Don't worry they wont open up the screws.
Its only an external process.
If it still does same its an hardware problem for sure.

Motorola RAZR V3 Cellular Phone

Ok so when I close my phone I still see the time and my background picture but no light immanates (hope I spelled that right)from the screen if thats what your saying that's normal. Now as far as the inside screen if you dropped it the connection that lets the phone know it's closed may be jarred lose and offset (not sayin u dropped it)although you say it dims. When you close your phone the inside screen should turn white and then turn off just barely have your phone open to check, if it does this then the connection is working. And you need another opinion.
