This is because the settings for the email integration are corrupt

delete the settings and aske the service provider to resend the settings if still the issue is not solved then contact the service provider so that they can raise a service request.

Hope the isssue is solved.

I want to retrieve all my old emails from my Gmail account to Yahoo (for back up reasons). How do I do that? all the solutions I tried works only for new emails arriving and not for my old ones.


You can import Contact in yahoo.below is the procedure
1. Click Options in the upper-right corner of your Mail page,then MAIL will be in the GENERAL mode...then click on CONTACTS.(left side of the screen)..once in click on TRANSFER CONTACTS TO YAHOO...
2. You will be prompted to re-enter your password as a security measure.
3. Next is a permissions page which goes over legal information. Click I Agree. If you'd rather not continue, click I Do Not Agree.
4. Verify that you've read the Terms of Service by clicking in the check-box. Click Start Transfer.
5. Enter the "old" email sign-in name for the account you're transferring from, and in the pull-down menu, select the webmail domain it's from.
* Choose from:
Hotmail, AOL, Gmail, Comcast, Yahoo!, Cox, Earthlink, MSN, Netzero, Juno, CS, Optonline, and
6. Enter the email account's password. Click Next.
7. Please wait a moment while we verify this information. If we run into a problem, we'll ask that you please re-enter the username, provider and password info.

I can sign onto skyp, but none of my friends appear on, however, I called my friend and he was on skype and he can see other people, yet I cannot see anyone. What should I do?

Search your email contacts to see who's on Skype:

Click the Directory tab and click the link See friends who are already on Skype.
You'll see an Add contacts screen.

Under Check your email contacts, click in the checkbox(es) beside the email accounts you have.
If you have a Yahoo account, type in your username and password then click Search email contacts.
Skype uses your Yahoo login to check if your contacts are on Skype - it never saves it, ever.

Wait for Skype to search your contacts.
If Skype finds a match, it will list the friends who also use Skype.

Click in the checkbox beside the people you want to talk to on Skype.
Then click Add contact.

Write an introduction message so they know who you are.
Click OK to send. Depending on their security, you can IM them. When they accept your invitation, you will be able to see when they are online and call them, too.
Add a specific person:

Click the Directory tab and go to Find people.

Click in the box and type in their name, email address or Skype Name.
Click Search. Wait for Skype to search.

In the list, find the person you're looking for. Check details like location and click this icon info_16x16_white.png to double check it's them.
Click on them, then click Add contact. This will open a Say hello window.

Click in the message box and type an introduction message so they know who you are.
Click OK to send. When they accept your invitation, you will be able to see when they are online and call them, too.
Add a phone or mobile number:

Click New and choose New Contact.

Find the link Save a phone number in your contact list.
Click on it. This opens an Add a contact window.

In this window, enter the person's name, select Home, Office, Mobile or the other options from the dropdown list, then click on the flag to choose the country they are in.
Click in the box beside the flag and type in the phone number.

Check it. If it's correct, click Save phone number.
This saves the number in your Contact list.

Face book always sends conformation's to my old e mail address hoe do I get it changed to my current address?

I'm assuming you're at least at this page...…
... and that you have at least two email addresses added.

(You get to this page by going to "Settings - Account Settings.")

If you don't have more than one, click Email Change and then fill out the box to Add New Email. Then, it should show up above that in the Contact Email list. Click the radio button beside the email you want to now set as your primary. You can choose to get rid of the other email accounts by clicking the Remove button, but I would suggest waiting to do that. I can't remember if Facebook sends you a warning email or not.

My iphone will not pull up any of my emails or send an email

If iPhone is unable to send or receive mails, try these basic troubleshooting steps.

1. In Settings, turn on other SMTP servers

1. Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and under Accounts, tap the account from which you're trying to send mail:
2. Scroll down to where it says Outgoing Mail Server and tap the box where it says SMTP:
3. Scroll down to where it says AT&T SMTP Server, and tap it turn it on.
Turn on all other SMTP Servers.

Sending a Word document to MS Outlook

It is a bug with the mail contacts. If you were to send to someone not on your contact list, I expect it would send okay. But seeing as you want to send to that particular person, save the document and send it as an attachment via Hotmail or whatever email account you have.

Phone is unable to send photos as message to email.

if you bluetooth it its free
to send it as a message it's not
when sending a pic it must be sent as an mms
so follow the same procedure as sending a txt but select mms instead.
then insert or add pic to the message and send to your email address.
if this is not working you may need to contact your provider to activate mms on your service.
AGAIN Bluetooth is easier
