How to transfer music from ipod to pc

There's a pretty neat program called "sharepod" that will do it for you or you can have service do it for you. They can even get your music if your iPod is broken - iPod Repair.

I'll give you one funny trick which I have tried myself, Do you know how to unhide hidden folders on your PC?, if so, do that, if not, (this is how you do it : Open any page, click on tools, Folder options,then View tab, then Click and select 'Show hidden folders').
After this, open My computer and locate the IPOD drive and Open it, you should see some fade folders (These are the folders where songs on your IPOD are, It is normally hidden,) ..open them one after the other, the names of the folders as well as the songs would have changed though, but just do it.
Another easier option is, to copy ALL the hidden folders there to another location, then right click on the folders and Unhide them, then tell the Windows Media Player, or any other player you wish to use to scan for songs from those folders.
