Question about Cooktops
My Whirlpool 4 burner gas rangetop lights fine and works fine. However, it sounds like its ignition is sparking once every 20 seconds or so - constantly. This happened 2 years ago and it healed by itself after a week. Any suggestions?

replace your spark module
have you spilled liquid on the cooktop recently?
if yes let it dry for a couple of days and see what happens.
sometimes when you spill liquid on the cooktop it grounds out the spark module and it will continue to spark until it drys.
let me know if you need more help

Sorry you can not just order the sparker if you are a home owner. You will need to call someone out to replace the part. Also there can be something else wrong with the cooktop. Most sparkers go out one at a time not all at the sametime.
