MP 190 Error Message E 2 2 after paper can't get it to work again
My MP190 is less than a 6 months old and worked great until I got a paper jam. I removed the paper, it came out easily, not tears, the full sheet of paper was removed. Now my printer keeps flashing an error message E 2 2. I have taken out the ink cartridges and reloaded, looked in vain for paper shreads. But nothing. I have even uninstalled it and then reinstalled. No good. Is there anything that I can do or is it a goner?

E3 error is mostly because of paper jam. their may be small bit paper jam in side There are some "micro-sensors"that detect a paper
jam. There will be tiny piece of paper, or a lump of dust, inside those
sensors, thus "tripping" the sensor and saying you paper jam.
To solve it Open printer cover and check to make sure no paper or foreign objects obstructing the printer feeder If you become sure that now really there is no paper, dust or foreign objects then Turn the printer off, and disconnect the AC power-cable. Open the printer cover & now give the printer a "blow-job" by compressed air. If still problem exist then best & final option is to just contact to any Canon service provider

As with the majority of printers you should be able to open it by lifting the top on hinges or a panel in the back to gain access to the internals. After doing this if you can get a hold of the paper you have to very slowly work it out, use two hands if possible it should work free just be careful not to rip it. Also take a look in you manual it may have a trouble shooting section that can also be useful. Hope this helps.
I refilled my MP190 Black cartridge PG-37 by drilling a hole in the top (roughly in the middle) and using the syringe supplied with the ink refill kit. To make the printer work again, press and hold down the Stop/Reset button (on bottom right hand side of printer) for at least 5 seconds until the display reads 1 again. This bypasses the ink level detector and is explained in the trouble shooting section of the on screen manual supplied on the printer installation CD. It works. It then happened again with the colour cartridge, so I repeated the process. It worked again. This should also work for the PG40 and CL41 cartridges.
open the mp tray locate 2 white plastic egg shaped piece on the ends of the steel rod gently push one or the other towards the back of the machine if the paper jam error message is on then the roller will turn as soon as you give it a push re load the paper open and close door a or e printing should resume that white piece works with the paper lift to get the paper up to the in feed roller
