Tv picture freezes then goes black 10seconds later HL-R5067W

Tv picture freezes then goes black 10seconds later comes back....tv picture freezes then goes black 10seconds later comes back on. TV cycles in this manner until I unplug and reconnect power. This happens every time I turn on the tv. When it freezes the picture for about 10 seconds the remote does not work and when I push a button on the remote the timer light Moretv picture freezes then goes black 10seconds later comes back on. TV cycles in this manner until I unplug and reconnect power. This happens every time I turn on the tv. When it freezes the picture for about 10 seconds the remote does not work and when I push a button on the remote the timer light flickers. It was so bad at first that I could not get it to work correctly until I stopped using the battery surge protector. When I plug it directly into the wall outlet I can reset it by unplugging and reconnecting power.

Sounds like the digital board needs replaced.

Your model has a maximum resolution of 720p. What you might want to do is make sure that both your cable/sat box and game stations are outputting at no more than 720 resolution. It's easy to assume that all HDTVs may accept a higher signal, and while they might, some of the scene changes or handshakes may make that operation cause the symptoms you describe.

sounds like ur tuner is bad.. ur better off buying a new tv then geting it repaired
