lots of electrical items will use a default security code of 0000 or 1234. if there is nothing in the manual and these codes do not work, then your best option would be to return it to the store for them to find the codes or refund/refpace the item
This tv was produced by some small company for the Disney Corporation,so there are no universal codes out there for this tv.100% i'm sure have original remote.Try website like Remotes.com to buy the original remote.

I
know this isn't what you want to hear, but the problem you've described
can't be fixed with troubleshooting. Your TV will have to be replaced.
There is a part that has developed a defect and needs to be replaced. If
you're still in warranty, the TV will be replaced at no charge to you.
The warranty would likely be at least 90 days from the date of
purchase from the manufacturer. If you purchased an extended service
plan they will replace the TV at no charge as well.
If
the TV is no longer in warranty, you will not be able to get it repaired because the parts are no longer available. The company that was manufacturing Disney TVs and DVD players went out of business nearly two years ago.
I hope I've provided you useful assistance and that this information

We had the same issue. Try clicking <play>1234<play> and it should unlockk the dvd in the machine. Seems to work on my daughters. It's a parental control of come sort. HTH.
11/12/08 My 18 yo daughter took her Disney "Ramon" dvd player she received at Christmas yo college with her and I used the code a moment ago <play> 1234 <play> and it unlocked it for her immediately.... try it it might work for you as well! Good Luck!
Might be the type of movie - some of them are only able to play "G" ratings. Try this: click <play> 1234 <play> It will likely unlock the dvd that is in and will begin to play. You will have to do the 'code' each time, or there's an unlock program you can purchase.
