So, you're having problem with your WiiMote huh?

Try this:
1. Have you make sure that you're sensor bar installed properly?? if no, try it. It's majority problem that ppl didn't realized.
2.Have you check out your Sensor Bar by digital camera? If not, try it. The camera detects infra red light. (any digital camera not analogue.)
3. Have you try to re-sync between your WiiMote and your Wii console? If not, try to push the red at the WiiMote (behind the battery cover) and the Wii (beside the SD slot card).

Hope that will help =]

Unit comes on and it takes the disk ok but then thats it

Make sure the drive to the Wii is upside down so its facing the ground and shake the Wii cause there may be loose debris in the drive.

If nothing comes out then the drive is bad. If debris comes out then try to load a game and if it doesn't load then the drive is still bad.

Wii remote works for me but not my husband. wonder why

Is your husband a lot taller than you?

Check the Sensor Bar settings as compared to the TV.

In order to get the most enjoyment from your Wii console, you have the ability to adjust the settings of the Sensor Bar. Users are prompted to perform these when the system is turned on for the first time. However, if you need to access them again, please read the information below.

To adjust the Sensor Bar settings
  1. Access the Wii System Settings (how to).
  2. Click on the blue arrow to reach the Wii System Settings 2 menu options.
  3. Choose "Sensor Bar " and select the option you would like to adjust.
Sensor Bar Position This setting is important to ensure a proper response when using the Wii Remote. Place the cursor over the option that reflects how you have your Sensor Bar setup (above or below the screen) and press the A Button. Select "Confirm" to save the selection.
