It's normal for a 1-10 seconds or so until the air in the system releases fully, than pool water should start coming out.. At that point you know the air is out and your system is ready for optimal performance... I have a 16 X 48 Ultra Frame pool and it takes me a week or more to get the water right... The salt system does a nice job creating Chlorine but the PH, Stabilizer and Salt Count must be in the proper Ranges before the salt system will get the chlorine to the proper level... In other words, don't concentrate on the chlorine during start-up until you get the other levels correct.. The quicker you get them to the correct levels the quicker you will be swimming..
Thanks,
Dan
