By disassemble the chuck parts to get the ball out and all blocking parts , when the drive guiding the bilt lock is worn it will be happens again in a short time or you have used a wrong chisel ? the where safety glasses after the dissassembling and place the chisel with tool complete on it in a big bench vice and make the dissassembled bitholder hot carefully with a burner and beat the machine from the chisel only if all blocking parts are disassembled or totally removed replace the
chuck parts but also the entire shaft guide if it is simply worn out by wrong chisel not.

SOURCE: bought hilti te 76

try turning the bit by hand a little while just pushing the bit in. On those you don't use the collar to install. You also might want to try and putting a SMALL amount of grease on the shank and retrying. Let me know if you still need help

Hi. I bought a used Hilti TE 15 sds Plus hammer drill with no instruction manual. Can this work with chisel bits or just drill bits?

Either one, it will need to use plus size bits, not standard.

How to remove Chuck shaft on a Hilti te22 hammer drill

SDS drill - the usual process of pulling back the outer sleeve of the SDS chuck should release either the bit or the chuck shaft so it virtually falls out or it can be easily withdrawn by hand - usually...

Some SDS attachments tend towards softness and with extended use can mushroom internally making them difficult to remove and sometimes nearly impossible. Twice I had had to resort to some serious brute force to remove SDS bits after heavy use.

What hilti hammer drills use TE-C bits? I want to buy one

TE2, TE4, TE6, TE7, TE30, TE40. The 30 and 40 are only corded, (not cordless).

TE-C bits come TE-C (standard head) and TE-C3X which is a high performance bit. SDS is the industry term for this connection.

Can i use any drill bit for drilling ...........in any drill machine or different drill machine have thier own drill bit

the teyx bits are SDS Max which are common in the industry. Most hammer drill manufacterors make a SDS+ size drill and a SDS MAX size drill. Hilti calls their bits TEC and TEY.

My hilti te-75 drills but is not hammering or will not go into chisel mode whay coud be the problem with it

Have seen this problem with some 'none' HILTI bits which do not fit correctly into the SDS chuck.
Tends to be with larger drill bits which have a wider shank than the SDS connector, the wider shank hits the end of the drill nose which stops the end of the drill bit contacting with the internal hammer.
Solution is to purchase original bits from Hilti. If you have OEM bits and chisel it will be another problem. Hope this helps.

'Whats the difference between a te c3x bit and a sds bit'

The difference is the type of shaft on the bit so that it matches to the chuck type of the drill...They are NOT interchangeable!!!!
You need to know which type of check your drill has and order accorndingly...

Will the bits from the te-c3x fit my te-17

Yes. New bits will fit old Hilti drills. Old Hilti bits do not fit the new (last 15 years) Hilti drills.
