My radio is stuck on 300 to 399 freq and nothing i do will change it. am i not hit the right thing

you are most likely scanning the wrong memory bank or similar.

27.385 is perfect for SSB but when you get anything really off freq like if it changes to 27.38334 then it bad but as long as it stays within the 27.385 area as 27.387 to 27.383 you are still considered on freq,If its really that bad send it or take it to a tech and let them adjust it for you.

Each microphone has a different FM Freq. If you can not find a Freq there is a very small hole in the mic near the Mic switch. You will need a jewlers screwdriver to make a freq. adjustment. Hold down the applause button while very close to your FM radio. Use manual tuning on your FM radio until you hear applause. If there is a local station playing on the Freq you can insert the jewelers screwdriver into the small hole and change the FM Freq for the Mic. You only need to make "fractional adjustments" to change the Freq. setting. Once you make a mic freq. adjustment change the radio freq SLIGHTLY up and down until you hear the applause.

This should get anyone going that is having difficulty with this microphone.

Have you herd it off freq? Do you have a freq counter? How do you know that the person that told you it sounds off freq don't have their receive off freq?

if its on a freq counter, and shows not off freq, then the radio is not off freq. There is some other problem.. Or no problem because if it is just some one else saying it, maybe they are just too picky.

Things that could cause your audio to change. If its in your mobile, diving around will make your audio sound different to people. Antenna or feed line problems. If there is a problem with your antenna or feed line, it could make your audio sound bad or off to some one else.

Also, if this unit has been modded, has the clarifier been unlocked? if so that will change your TX freq.

If the unit is new and nothing has been done to it, there should be no reason why it is off freq unless some one has done something to it.

I am not familar with that model scanner but all the uniden radios I have used have direct freq entry......Hit manual button, select what channel you wish to enter it in, hit manual again. Enter the freq desired, then hit enter. That should enter the freq in that channel space. Hit enter again to go to the next channel for programming. Hope this helps.

1. for best proformance please note the following
a. place the FM radio in an area of minimal nosie and interference
b. do not set vol to max
c. has to be within 15 ft
d. hear your own voice, will not be brodcasted over the radio
e. in some areas, all frequencies in 92 to 106 FM range could be occupied by a local radio station. in this rare case, your mic will not be functional
3. move mic close to radio while tuning, tuning into frequnecy may take practice. may need to move your radio dial slowly and sing or talk in to the mic

press the manual button a few times, and make sure there are actually some freq. programmed into the unit. if there are freq other than 000.000000 in there, press the s/s (lockout) button and see if this unlocks the frequencies to allow them to be scanned.

when i turn on my radio it keeps beeping repeatly nothing else happens
