Behringer BCD3000 + Traktor 3 LE wont work on laptop
Hey guys, this one is a real doozy! Its not uncommon but very hard to fix as I have found out. I can get the combo to work fine on my desk top(which is well under the minimum requirements) but on my laptop, I can get the software running smooth (using built in sound card) but as soon as the BCD3000 is plugged in, and it made the primary sound card, it does nothing! Freezes up?
Before I updated the software, I had them working vaguely together but as I would start to play the 1st track, it would play for 10 seconds, pause for 5sec, play for 5 sec, pause for 5 sec etc.... Apparently the update had the "fix" in it but not for my lappy!
My lappy is running really well aside from all this. just had a full back ground service clean up so the thing is running like a dream, accept this compatibility-like issue.
Heres my specs:
mobile AMD Athlon XP-D 2800+
1 Gig RAM
60Gig Hard Drive
Ive been trying to find out about updating motherboard drivers but Asus website is as helpful as a bee sting! Good luck guys, it would be great if you could figure out a solution. Kind Regards, Sam

Paralelling Digital audio.. Not a good Idea.. Im suprised you didnt kill the Modem/Sound chip in the laptop.. Glad you figured out however. Weve seen a ton of similar issues from People hooking an Analog Hi watt stereo to a digital out put laptop thru headphone jacks..Somthing going to give.. Always remember Modem and Sound on laptops are generally Integrated to the same circuitry..

Google replacement screens for your computer and you will find several places that sell them and they are not that hard to install just have to be patient and very carefull, these screens break real easy.
The error indicates that the Hard Drive in the computer has crashed and will require a replacement. I made a quick search and found the part # of the HDD that was shipped with your model. It is A1065524A. I would suggest that you replace the HDD with one with the same specification that was came with the computer.
You may either purchase it from Sony parts center or third party vendors.
open ur pc cover and there r a cmos jumper on the near of the battery (cell). here 1 more pin on this jumper. remove the jumper and change the pin . than on ur pc for 10 - 20 sec and than off ur pc. and replace the jumper on his real place,,,,,,,
As the processor usage goes up to 100% I personally would check the fan on the processor. Does it seem to be running, does it speed up when the CPU goes to 100%. I had this with graphics cards similar fault caused by the lubricant /grease on the fan spindle drying out and causing the fan to stick or stop, and then the graphics GPU getting too hot. Also check the heatsink / vents where the air from the fan blows out. Just a thought.
Just open the cover on the back, disconnect the CMOS battery. Then
unplug the battery of laptop and power plug, let it rest for 20~40
minutes. This will allow the CMOS released.
Then, plug in the power. It works!
The only downside is the time and date on your computer will be set
back. If you want to fix this minor problem, you need to buy a new CMOS
battery. Also, because it was wired manually on the battery to hook it
on. You need to hook wires on the button battery by yourself.
BTW: the BIOS update on HP website does NOT work.
I think HP knew what is the real cause for this problem, they just wont share it with us. This really pissed me off!
Even they changed a motherboard for you, it wont last longer than 2
years. Thus, the "free fix" wont solve this problem. Why dont they just
public the method. It is just a minor thing, everybody with limited
knowledge can fix it.
Who the hell want to change a laptop every 2 years with their own money? 3 or 4 years will be reasonable, 1 or 2 years? Jeez...
