If you have drive by wire. I would check the TPS first. It's under the gas pedal. (bad location). Unplug it and plug it back it. (bad connection) see if it still does it. If so. Have the codes read. I replace a lot of these because of the location. Bad water and moisture source.

Most likely a gas cap or emissions issue, if you are sure the car is running fine. But you will have to have it scanned to know for sure.

idle air speed control valve(iac),too low idle or driveline problem like play in the drive shafts. if you put it in park and give it to say2500 rpm and let go of the throttle,does it return to 900rpm?if it dips down to 5 or 600 then to 900 the iac is bad.

thats an air fault
Either not enough or to much, check all your air pipes ensure no leaks,ensure seals are good,and no ripped pipes,
Also it could be the air mass sensor, you can remove this and clean it with carburetter cleaner try that see if it idles, they sometimes just get dirty but other times will not work. worth a try before you buy anything.
If still no joy get back to me could be something else, chjeck the air system firt though. and the idle control valve.

The fuel pump in this car is electric and is inside the fuel tank, it uses the fuel it sets in for lubrication and for cooling, when u run out of gas this causes the tiny electric pump to severly overheat and many times it ruins the pump, and that is what has happened here, u will need to pull the gas tank and replace the fuel pump. also replace the fuel filter.

ThE car has been scanned, replaced bas sensor Replaced throttle control sensor still when I let off the gas the car beeps the bas light comes on and nothing. Car is running but will not even raise rpms
