How do i turn on the wifi device radio "ON" ?

Hi Kim,
There are different ways of turning on Wi-Fi in dell systems it always depends upon the model of your system .ill give you all the three options.
1: You can press FN+F2 and start wireless connection.
2: Only by pressing F2
3: There will be a slider switch on either side of your system for the Wi-Fi connectionicon1.png you can slide to the number 1 position and the wireless connection will be activated.
But it depends upon the model of your system.

You can also try this steps:
Switch can also be found on the front, see if there is a bar which you can switch it on or off. Also FN+F12 also possible. some laptop has another key for only that function too. See if you can see a button with a Athene icon on your keyboard. It looks like a staff with 3 Waves above it most of the time..

How to turn on wifi? Its been 2 -3 days wifi isnot being loaded?

Press and Hold the FN function key then hit F2 while holding the FN Key down.

Maybe you don't have your wireless turned on. Look onboth sides and in front for the Wireless Switch and turn it on.

Also once the wireless switch is turned on there are keystrokes that can togglethe wireless on or off. Normally you would Press and Hold the FN functionkey located at the lower left of the keyboard, then hit the correct F1 thru F12key that toggles the wireless. The correct F1 thru F12 key to hit willhave the wireless signal icon )))) on it. Or it might have the icon of a towerwith the wireless signal icon )))). Normally the screen will displayWireless On or Wireless Off when you toggle the wireless.

Wifi device

Do you have the wireless switch turned on. Most times there is a wireless switch on either side of the laptop or on the front of it. Turn it on and when on it should show a blue light. Also there are a combination of keystrokes that can toggle the wireless on most laptops. Normally you would have to hit the FN (Function Key down at the bottom left portion of the keyboard) + the corresponding key (F1 thru F12) that controls the wireless. The correct key that controls the wireless will normally have the wireless icon )))) on it. Press and Hold the FN key then hit the F1 thru F12 key that controls the wireless. If you watch the screen usually it will say Wireless On or Wireless Off.

Which switch will turn on the wireles net connection

The keys along the top ranging from F1 to F12 will have icons on them. you will need to locate the icon that resembles a WiFi tower or radio signal.
By default the F1-F12 keys are inverted performing their functions such as turning WiFi on and off so the Fn key will not need to be pressed unless you have changed this setting (typically in the BIOS). If pushing the button with or without the Fn doesn't turn your WiFi on and off then you may be missing the software needed for this to function correctly and you will need to visit Dell to download applications related to your wireless.

MY WIFI CAN'T ACTIVE, HOW TO CONNECT MY WIFI ? AS WELL AS I HAVE PROXY ADDRESS.

There are several ways to connect your WiFi. First, make sure it is turned on. To do this, most machines have function keys to enable the device, usually Fn+F2. The key second key will have an icon with what looks like the WiFi symbol or a wireless tower. There are also usually external switches on the machine that can urn off and on the device. If you have a switch, make sure it is in the on position, denoted by the ' symbol. The device could also be turned off an on inside the operating system. This can be handled by the OS or the software associated with the device. The OS handles this in Device Manager (Right Click "My Computer" and select "Device Manager" in the drop down menu). Once the device is verified as being on, connecting to a wireless access point is as easy as selecting the AP's SSID (name associated with the network) and clicking connect (most OS's have this capability. To get to the list of AP's available, click the icon in the taskbar that looks like a set of bars and select the desired network. If there are none, this could indicate none are available, or the device is not on.

Cannot turn on wifi on T400. Intel 5100 card

Is the "broadcast-tower" light on (the leftmost icon on the lite-bar below the screen)? Have you got an available/working WiFi router? Have you been able to choose a network to connect to? My T400 works fine when all the above are enabled..
