Send it back for warranty, any attempt to repair will void the warranty.

Have 2 tablets only 2 months old 1 won't charge; 1 has plain white screen can't do anything

For the one that is not charging. Is it where it cannot hold a charge or won't make a connection all? Could be a bad battery, or could be the charge port is bent or disconnected. The white screen sounds like it has crashed and won't boot up with its "Operating System" You could try doing a hard reset on the white screen, if that does not fix it then I say it is gone for good and you would need a new one.

I have got white and black patch half way up my kindle, have reset and seems that the patch is spreading, still in excellent cond and hardly used. can this be fixed?

If the screen looks like a bottle of ink has been "spilled" on it then sorry, the screen has actually broken.
There are companies out there who will replace a eInk screen for about GBP55 and guarantee the SCREEN for 6 months.
It may be more economic to buy a new Basic.

If it's under a year old call AMAZON (help on their web page) they will often replace free under warranty.

Black and white screen on my zeepad

That is a pretty inexpensive tablet. The screen is broken and the machine isn't worth repairing. The screen will cost far more than a new comparable tablet, sorry for the bad news.
