If you insert a new needle and it still hits the hook, you will need to take it to a qualified repair person. Resetting the timing requires specific steps that cannot be explained here.

Needle hitting this and breaking. Pulling too ******* thread caught in bobbin case is the cause. How to fix or readjust?

breaking needles from hitting can be from several problems
1-- needle /hook timing is out
2--needle thread tension is too tight pulling needle side ways
thread caught around bobbin holder is top thread too loose
take it in for a service check as the needle /hook timing is complicated to adjust and the problem could be more complicated than suggested

Needle hitting something and bending. Std. 80/12 needle.

check the needle and hook timing as if it is out the needle hits in the bobbin carrier the eye of the needle and the hook should be next to each other as the needle starts the up stroke
It is in the workshop manual or take it in for a service

My needle is hitting something on the downstroke under the throatplate.

I would take it into a service center to have the needle /hook timing checked or the bobbin case is loose on the drive shaft putting the hook timing out

How to correct timming on Bernina 930

Rare timing problems with the 930. I created this technical document for Bernina dealers in 1986. Hope this helps.

Also to check for the timing of loop lift, please see the enclosed photos. Note that the needle position is in the right hand position with the hook advancing so that the tip of the hook point is exactly flush with the right side of the needle. (Photos are showing the hook point for training purposes only). These observations and adjustments are always checked with the hand-wheel turned in the DOM (direction of motion). If loop lift timing is off as per the Tech sheet enclosed, the tool for correction is still available. http://www.sewtechnical.com/

The bobbin case catches the needle and the thread wraps around the bobbin case

If you are saying the needle is hitting the bobbin case when it goes down then it could be one of two things:

1. Bobbin case not all the way in. This can be caused by debris in the rotary hook or the bobbin case has been hit by the needle and has cracked/and or bent it. Make sure it is snapping into place correctly.
2. The rotary hook is out of time. Reset the rotary hook point behind the needle and about the middle of the scarf of the needle. Make sure you run the needle all the way down and as it starts back up this is where you set the hook.

Huskylock viking serger machine is very noisy / squealling; oiled / cleaned machine, changed needles... It gets quieter if I sew fast.

some machine make more noise than others, but to be on the safe side I suggest having the machine check to see if there is something else wrong, it could be something is loose or worn in the machine.

Timing the needle

That isn't the timing. If the hook is hitting the needle the hook is too far left - or close to the needle. It's adjustable by loosening the set screw at the base of the hook and by gently tapping the hook away from the needle. You want the hook to be close enough to the needle to pick up the thread loop that's formed just as the needle bar is rising.

Broke a needle

Best scenario is that the needle hit deflected and hit the hook that the bobbin snaps on to. When needles hit hooks they can leave a mark or burr that the thread will catch on when it comes around. Take out the hook and run your fingernail over the edge from the point back. If you find a burr get some crocus paper (very, very fine sanding paper and polish the burr off.
Next would be that your machine is knocked out of timing meaning a trech will have to reset it.
