I have a rca dw52w19 and have the same problem it will not power on the light on the powerbutton blinks 2 or 3 times then it gives up after continous pushing it may come on after 20 minitues of messing with it . I have a surge protector on it so any surge that occured lately should not have done this has anyone had this proble fixed ? how much did it cost ?

I have a mitsubishi 1080 integrated series model number WS-55515 on a surge protector, today during a thunderstorm the power to my home blinked off for about 2-3 seconds and the tv has not worked since, no power to the green light on the front or anything, any ideas?

have had NO problems for six years and after a thunderstorm all of a sudden there is NOTHING on the screen just black. The front red light is on but no vcr, dvd, station. zip. The other electronics on the surge protector work so I doubt it was lightning but it was strange that after the storm it stopped working. What do you think?

I have a Hitachi 57F500 57 in projeciton HDTV. It has worked perfectly for about 3 years now. We were watching the TV one morning, left to go to town for a little while and when we came back the TV would not turn on at all. The power button on the front of the TV will not come on. I took off the back of the TV and blew it out good with canned air. I can hear a faint buzzing near the power cord on the circuit board but I noticed the little red light on the board isnt on either. Please help.

i have a rca model #d52w19 b bought december 2004. It will not power on. the green light will come on, but it goes right back off. I am at a loss where to start. help?

I have a RCA D52130. I recently moved it and when I put it on a stand, it would not power up. I took it off the stand and it powered up. I then pushed it back 3 feet and it won't come on again. I took the back off and found that the green ground wire from the plug going to the metal case was broke in half. I stripped back the wires and touched them together (Didn't have anything to splice them together) but the tv will still not come on.
I have seen people saying replace a fuse but I have not located one. I have also read about a protection mode and thaqt maybe I need to splice the ground and then wait four hours before trying to turn it on.
Please help....
