Question about Creative Labs Zen Micro MP3 Player

Frozen i have a creative zen micro 6 gb. i charged it and then took the battery out. when i put it back in and turned it on, the screen said rebuilding library. its stuck on that screen and the buttons wont work. it wont even turn off unless i take the battery out. each time i try to restart it, it does the same thing. what should i do?

If it keeps on rebuilding the library the disk had a bad spot on it try going in to recover mode and do a clean if that doesn't work do a format if that doesn't work download the latest firmware if that doesn't fix you will need a new hard drive or flash drive.

Creative zen became frozen

Let the battery completely drain, and after a while charge it using the charger available else thru computer without turning it on.. let it charge for 50% and then try switching it on. Try this if not get back to me.

Take your battery out of the back, turn it back on and let it reboot.

Creative zen micro photo 8gb not turning on.

remove the usb adaptor and remove the battery from the back.
and then put the battery back in and try it

This is not a Zen Vision:M. Likely a Zen Micro. The hard drive is bad and will need to be replaced.

Solution ID # 4794 from creative site ZEN Micro and ZEN MicroPhoto 1. Make sure that the battery is charged. 2. Detach the ZEN Micro or MicroPhoto from the PC, and ensure that it is turned off. 3. Remove the battery. 4. Move and hold the Power button to the Power On position and re-insert the battery to the ZEN Micro or MicroPhoto. Hold the Power button until the Recovery Mode appears. The following options will be displayed: -Clean Up : Scans the player and removes invalid links from its music library.Does not affect music files themselves. -Format (All):Caution! Erases all content!Save a copy of your player's content before formatting. -Reload OS/ Firmware : Caution! Erases your player's firmware. DO NOT select the Reload Firmware option unless you have access to a PC and you have downloaded the necessary firmware to install. Reboot Reboots the device.
