I am getting codes po300, po315 and po339 - Cars & Trucks

Dont change things if udont know solution..its just guessin. A flashin enginelite means danger. It often means the catylitic converter is bad. But hav adata stream run at a privateshop to get values to target issue. Codes are jyst approximate n general

You tell us why they could not clear data

You clear all data,not just one code

The code came back because that system
was not repaired yet & now the shop wants to
get away from your car & work on easier money
making jobs

If you google your PO315 --- the shops really don't
have to go to their data base, as there is info on the problem
on the internet

They either never found the real issue or put one in the car

I think they ran out of knowledge

You appear to still have CPS issues

They could not clear the code because the computer
can not recognize the crank sensor

You & I can see some of the possibles on the computer,
why can't a shop

Scan tool data would show all sorts of issues

They never road tested or looked at data-- to confirm any
work they did

That code could be from bad plugs. There is a chance that the wires to the plug are bad and also the wires to the crank sensor could be having problems. Keep in mind that the crank sensor has another part on the crank shaft that can have problems too.

Code 315 involves the crank sensor, and code 715 involves the speed sensor in the transmission.
Both sensors would need to be checked, and I would think the car is still covered under the factory warranty.

both codes refer to Crankshaft position sensor A code 339 is CKT Intermittent and 341 is CKT Range Performance. you may have to replace the sensor.

The code you got may not have indicated the correct coil, that was bad

I would put the old coil back in #6 & either walk the new coil to another cylinder, or get professonal help in the form of a scan tool in Mode $06,
if applicable on your vehicle & check for misfires that why

Forget the PO300

p0339 is crank shaft position sensor related error. you need to be sure that its wiring is not damaged and it is not shorted somehow. if it is broken or getting broken, car may stall, or wont start att all.

p0113 is for intake air tempoerature sensor errors. that sensor measures air ehich enters the engine. it is least important. its effect may not be noticable when weather is not extremely cold.

p0334 is for knock sensor on engine. it prevent predetonation due to ignition conditions appear. it is felt when engine is under load like climbing, and engine speed is low. check for wires if it is ok replace sensor.

we can tell that temperature sensor is not directly effects other sensors.
but knock sensor and crank position sensor is to important for engine. if you have no starting issues, even cold or warm engine, invest on knock sensor first.
