This issue appears sometimes for having antenna power enabled.
The solution is to reset the eeprom.
Go to the service menu by pressing menu key on remote control, then press 9, 3, 0 and 1.
Write down all values and proceed to reset eeprom.
After reset, enter service menu again and check all the values are the same as before. If not, correct them.

You really need to read the manual to your TV. You need to have a router connected to a high speed Internet service. If you mean connect to the Internet, your smart TV will,have to have a browser, like Opera to enable you to get online. The smart TV apps are selectable with your remote, but you have to get the connection first. If you don't have high speed Internet and a wireless router it ain't gonna work. I don't have the manual to your set, so I can't tell you the exact steps you use on your remote control.
