I am having problems with my motorola v3 razor. It will shut off at random and will say insert sim. I then have to turn it off numerous times until the screen comes back up. It will shut off any time no matter if you are texting, talking, or if you are even touching it. It will not send picture messages wither. Please help. Cingular just says to buy a new phone from them or deal with it.

You can use P2K phone commander, it can dump all the phone data even with no sim card inserted.
Here you can get the program and the drivers
Do not delete anything! Since this software is not official and you can access some system files with it, deleting stuff at random will lead to unpredictable results
Do you mean where is a SIM card? If you have a Motorola V3 razr you will remove the battery door, There you will find the battery and just beneath it off centered to the right, you will find the SIM card. The battery needs to be removed in order to safely remove or insert the SIM card.
Alright so if you got a new sim it's more than probable that the connection is the problem. Remove your sim and take an eraser and clean it gently. Make sure you have the sim connector properly connected to the sim card, so leave the back off and turn it on I had to slide my sim card around a few times for it to work so try that till the message disapears. hope that helps.
