Red light on printer

I have changed the ink in my printer and now a red light has come up and nothing will print.

Your printer's cartridge is not fixed correctly and top cover may not closed correctly.

TSP100 Thermal Printer work with a thermosensible paper, there is no ink to change, if the print quality is poor you have to
  • check the paper roller, it can be wrong installed.
  • Check the upper cover if not closed properly close it.
  • check the print head or the pressor roller.

Blinking red light, unable to turn off or print


From the looks of your printer. I'd say that one of your ink has a problem. The part where you put the cartridge in, is where your problem lies. YOu'll prob need to get it checked out by an HP dealer.

try changing the ink cartridge and see if that helps.

Red light constantly on and not printing. changed


do you print CD or plain paper, red light is mean jamed paper or change cartridge. Open the top door >press drop ink symbol> look at printer head show on ink ink tray.

Flashing red "check ink" lights and nothing is wrong with ink


Is there a resume button on the printer? If so press this, often printers will allow you to bypass a low ink message and print for a while longer.

C43 stylus does'nt print while red and green lights stay on


If the light are flashing, it mean waste ink full. You must clean waste ink pad, and reset the counter. You can use SSC, find at indoreset.blogspot.com. But,.. you said the light are on. try to resinstall driver. after printer recognised by comp, check status monitor. Green light on is power on, and red on mean chip error/ink out error/cartridge error.

Won't print


Have you checked the ink cartridges for any blockage? Some cartridges come with plastic over the area that ink comes out (in order to keep them from leaking in the packaging) a common error is to not peal off the plastic.

try reseating the ink cartridges
if you still get the red ink error light - call EPSON with the date&place of purchase of the said inks

first disconnect the printer from the computer

then powercycle the unit and observe if it is recognizing the inks

if u get the red ink lights on, try re-seating the inks

if that doesnt work, contact manufacturer regarding the inks
