Bizhub 421 light copy result

If it is new, it is under warranty. Contact the maker or seller. It is likely to be a fault with the scanning tube or may be the optics / CCD. Is is via the document feeder or on the platen glass? Lift the lid and press the copy button. Does the bulb (tube) look okay?

Did you clear the counters first, then did you run the required procedures afterwards? when you say background are you talking about a previous image? if so it the fuser

check the Transportation lock in scanner. May b it not allowing to bring Expouser Unit at home position.

Thermisters / Heat Sensors abnormality. Replace the thermisters, in order to get rid of this problem permanently.

Normally light copy comes out when mirrors are dirty. Before any adjustment clean the slit glass and mirrors.

Kindly tell me what is the problem you are facing in Konica Minolta bizhub 421 MFP?

The maximum paper size for the Bizhub 180 was 11"X17". Using a larger paper size will result in either incomplete copy or a paper jam every time.
