It is located in the larger of the 2 AC hoses from the compressor or it is located on the can shaped object called the "accumulator canister"

passenger side hi side service line going to evaporator. remove line from fire wall to evap it will be in that line.

The AC orifice tube is located in one of the metal portions of your hoses. It may be identified by about a few inches from the nut you shall see four small indentations around the surface of the tube. This filter is located inside the tube and usually needs a special extractor to remove.

The orifice is located at the inlet tube to the evaporator core on the firewall, just suction the system out and remove the pressure line to the evap core, it is right there.

2005 GMC Xl doesn't appear to have an orifice tube where you'd expect to find it, -in its normal location.

Suggestion: if the fluid looks good inside the receiver/Dryer and the pressure is within range, send it.

Otherwise you're probably looking at a failed compressor and a clogged core or condenser at this age of the vehicle.

HI, this system only uses the one orifice tube. What made you think the orifce tube was causing your system not to blow cold air?

it is located in the high pressure AC line at the AC evaporator core inlet. The high pressure line is the smaller of the two AC lines that come from the AC compressor on the engine..

a/c orifice tube is on discharge line before filter dryer side the line.
