Question about Lexmark Wheelwriter 1000 Typewriter

Program this typewriter

Does anyone know how I can program this typewriter to enter same information on multiple pages. Basically to have a template in place that the typewriter will be able to perform when commanded.

Anyone know?

Turn it off. Type it once. Place the new page and press Code and RePrt (in green) together, and it should print it all again. Make sure you have the paper in the right place to start the typing.

Create header on one page only

You didn't provide many details. I assume what you want is a Word template file where the first page only has your business information in the header.
Basically, you need to set up a document with a "Different first page". To do that, click the Ribbon Page Layout tab, in the Page Setup section, click the expansion icon (lower right corner of section), click the Layout tab, under Headers and Footers, click Different first page.
Then go to your first page and create a letterhead header. You can adjust the margins on this page as needed. The second and subsequent pages will still have the orginal settings.
When it's just as you like, save the document as a template. Next time you need a document on letterhead, just open the template and Word will create a new document for you with the letterhead already in place.

How to upload products -
While listing products on Amazon is a great way to sell your products and expose them to millions of customers, adding multiple items to your merchant account can be a time-consuming process. Instead of adding products one-by-one, sellers with Pro Merchant Subscription accounts can use Amazon's tools to upload product details in bulk.
1. Download Amazon's pre-built inventory file template from that fits your product category. This template is a Microsoft Excel file. You can use free programs such as Apache OpenOffice Calc and LibreOffice Calc to open and edit the file if you do not own Excel.
2. Open the template in a spreadsheet program. Each template has detailed instructions specific to your product category at the top of the document. Carefully read the instructions before entering your product details so you do not make any mistakes.
3. Print the "Data Definitions" tab in the spreadsheet. This worksheet includes important details on the acceptable values and formats you can enter into the template. Keep it handy as a reference when filling out the template.
4. Add your inventory items to the template. Pay close attention to template columns to make sure you enter product details in the correct cell. Enter details such as SKU, product ID, title, brand, manufacturer, description and more. You can also add bullet points to expand on the description of your item in the cells labeled "BulletPoint1," "BulletPoint2," "BulletPoint3" and so on.
5. Save the file in the .xls format when you are finished entering product details. In Excel, OpenOffice Calc and LibreOffice Calc, select "File" from the program menu, then click "Save As."
6. Save the file again as a tab-delimited .txt file, per Amazon's instructions. This is the file format needed for uploading on If a dialog pops up that says the file format does not support files containing multiple worksheets or something similar, click "OK." If another warning says the document contains features incompatible with the file format, click "Yes."
7. Log in to your Amazon seller account. Click "Upload multiple items," then select the template type for the file you want to upload. To completely replace all of the items in your inventory, select "Purge and Replace."
8. Click "Select File Upload," then "Browse." Locate your product file on your computer using the dialog box, select it, then click "Upload Now." After you upload the document, the page shows the status of the upload. Refresh the page to see the upload progress. Files over 5MB may take several hours to process.

I have a Kodak ESP 5200 series printer. When I try to print Avery 8160 address labels the sheet comes out not printed.

Click the "Download Template" button. Enter your info and click "Submit". Follow the prompts to download the file. After you download your Avery template, be sure to remember where you saved the file on your computer and the file name. Open Microsoft® Word or an Adobe® program for your template and select File > Open to navigate to the drive and folder to open your template. Use the program's formatting and printing features to edit and save your template. For Microsoft® Word users - If the template looks like a blank page, select Table > Show Gridlines to view the template layout.

What program are you using as the word processor? Do you hit enter at the end of each line? This sounds like a problem with Word and the auto-correct feature combined with hitting enter at the end of the line. The enter gets Word to assume that you have started a new paragraph and you need to capitalize the letter. The Microsoft Works editing program works very similarly.

1) You can turn off autocorrection. Depending on the version of Word (2007, 2010) it may be in slightly different places. Look in Tools for AutoCorrect Options. There are various choices available. Turn off AutoFormat as you type or the entire autocorrection feature.

2) Just keep typing and let the word processor wrap the line for you until the next time you need to start a new paragraph. This is the WordWrap feature available in most of the better word processors. You may be able to turn this on and off easily depending on the word processor. (Text editors work more like typewriters and won't do this. Windows comes with Notepad for the most basic editor.)

WordPad will let you let you turn on and off the WordWrap under View. WordPad is a basic Word Processor in Windows and will act as a Word file Viewer at the same time.)

How do you reset clocks on Lucent Partner 18D phones?

The partner phones are now Avaya. The system time is going to be maintained by the operator's console or phones at extension 10 or 11 (the normal programming phones).

To set the system time, do the following:
Press Feature 00.
Press System Program (Left Intercom button) Twice.
Press #103
Enter the time in 24-hour notation (ex: for 4:23 p.m. use 1623)
A display should appear confirming the time.

Press Feature 00 to exit programming mode.

Keep in mind that if you are using Merlin Mail you will need to set the time different on that system.
