My tv says no signal when I plug in my wii but you

Go back and check the cable connection. it might be that the video cable is loose. also, confirm that you switched it off properly last time. try turning it off and waiting a few minutes and turn it back on.

If this does not work your av cables may be broken

How do I fix Magnavox HDTV stuck in av after use of Wii?

If the Wii is not used, and if some other source is used, does the set still stay stuck??? If it stays stuck with the Wii connected, but not with some other device, then the fault is with the Wii and not the TV. Maybe there is something in the characteristics with the Wii output that is the cause...

If that input stays stuck with any source, when I used to do TV service there were a number of things that caused this. I had to sometimes change the input control IC (input matrix IC), and or, one or a few of the components associated with this IC. These components were identified by following the digital control signal paths with a digital scope and volt meter and using the schematic diagram as reference. Sometimes I found the main uPC (micro-controller) in the TV set was the cause because it was not properly sending the command for the input change.

The most basic thing you can check is if the remote is sending the proper remote command signal to the set. If you do not have a remote control signal analyzer you can try another remote such a universal remote control to compare.

When we turn to the tv to "av" we usually get signal for WII, but now it says "no signal"

Make sure your video connections are correct and make sure any external video selectors are set to the correct input. If the wii is connected directly to the AV input in the TV then check your resolution settings on the TV if possible. Try a known good wii audio/video cable to see if it has gone bad. If it still doesn't work after that then the audio video port on the back of the wii may have gone bad or the wii motherboard may have gone bad.

Most DVD players and maybe the Wi are connected via rear audio and video input jacks so that may be your issue.

I have a panasonic 1080p hd tv, a samsung dvd/vcr,nintendo wii and a bt vision + box, how do I connect the nintendo wii?

if your dvd vcr has an rca input and output try going into it with the wii and out to the tv. Unfortunately mine does not have input only output and I have to swap the rca plugs on the back of the tv. If you still need help I would need to know all the connection types you have on each product to set up a pattern.

Moniter keeps turning off saying no video imput

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!

Check that the Input signal cable is properly inserted in the VGA socket. Secondly the Primary VGA is properly giving display signals to the Monitor/LCD. Because there are cases in which VGA is the bottle neck of the trouble you are facing.

Cross check and update me with the status,

Best of Luck,

Friends Nintendo Wii went off - screen turned black after previously working ok. Took our Wii and plugged it into their tv and wiring. Our Wii now wont work. When Wii is turned on screen changes from no...

  1. This happens if the wires are hooked up wrong(Video and Audio reversed)
  2. The tv is on the wrong channel
  3. The tv signal settings have been changed
  4. The signal settings on the wii have been changed
First check that all wires and connectors on the wii and tv are properly and snugly connected
and check the tv channel.
Then check the settings in both.
