The phone is out of range

I had success doing the folliwing: On the base, press the main button in the center (the one that lights up blue when the unit actually workd) for a couple of seconds until it makes some weird noise. Then, on the handset, go to Menu, Handset Settings, Select Registration, selct handset (it is the first choice) then let it find the base. Hopefully this will work for you guys. Other than this, I have a lot of other problems with the unit. Unperfected technology, waste of money and a headache.

Thanks, it didnot work initially, but you need to keep the button on the base pressed till you hear two beeps and then try registering from the handset.
