How to fix or reprogram moonroof on 1999 lexus rx 300 ?

To reset the moonroof one-touch operation:
With ignition switch in the "ON" position, do the following:
1. Push and hold the "TILT UP" side of the switch until the moon roof tilts all the way up and then tilts down slightly (approximately 10 mm [0.39 in.] at the rear).
2. Check for proper operation of the "one-touch slide open/close" and "one-touch tilt up/down" functions by pushing the switch briefly to the "SLIDE OPEN" and
"TILT UP" positions.

Check the connections to the motor for the moon roof. It's most likely that the motor has gone out, and will need to be replaced.

it sounds like something that is broken inside ,u might need a new moon roof track complete unit

What year is the car? Does it have a sunroof/moonroof? If so, sometimes the roof doesn't close completely or the sealing gasket is old, brittle, worn or damaged causing water to infiltrate and seek the lowest point. Has the car ever been in a front or side accident? If so, the weatherstripping may not have been installed properly. Finding leaks is similar to herding cats - not impossible, but not easy to do.

what size of bulb for the moon

there is usually a manual turn hidden somewhere on the inside roof. Find it and turn it with a wrench/screwdriver. Hope this helps :-)

the moon roof tilts it does not slide,the click is to tell you that its open...you can tell if its a slider if the headlining has a downward bulge in it.some markets do both,

Either it' has not been used in some time and needs to be cleaned and lubricated or the motor for the moon roof is gone .....you can also check the side of the moon roofs motor to see if you can turn it up some to make it go faster ....hope it helps you out ...if not ...change the moon roofs motor

You have to reset the windows and sunroof after you change the battery. For windows open the driver half way and close the window up and hold the up switch for few seconds. If that don't work open the rear window from rear switch and that should work.
For moon roof open the moon roof and keep the hold the open button pressed for 10 seconds. Then close the moon roof and hold the close button pressed for 10 seconds

you are having a problem with either your power switch which opens and closes the moonroof. or either you may in fact have a motor problem with moonroof. check to see if you may have an electrical short in your system. also you also may have something wrong with your moonroof sliding armature.
