Question about Westinghouse 78500 Casanova White Ceiling Fan
Is this a known problem ? How can I fix it ?
Thanks for your help.
There could be 3 known causes.
1. The wires are not securely attached
2. Motor is fried and is sucking power it can transfer
3. A short in the switch.
You can try replacing the switch or tap directly around the motor itself and see if the brushes inside motor free up. You can also turn fan to on and try spinning by hand to see if she frees up
