Question about Kodak ESP 3 Multifunction Printer/ Copier/ Scanner
Just bought the printer and I have faint lines on each photo that I print. tried all the 'fixes' avialable via the 'Maintenance' section.
Firstly check if the ink cartridges are genuine or not.........if they are then its a print head issue.........call kodak tech support.......or you can process the request for print head replacement from www.kodak.com/go/itg where you will have to follow troubleshooting steps and by the end it will ask for your printer details and will send it to kodak and you will receive email response on your email for the replacement print head being shipped to you.........this was just in case you dont want to call kodak tech support......

Faint lines could mean different things depending on the direction of the lines. If the lines are parallel with out the picture is printed, it could be a communication error. Try printing a test page directly from the printer to see if that resolves the issue. If it does, try a different USB cable. If not, there is a problem with the print engine
