This means your condensor on the back of the unit that pumps the freon needs to be vacuumed. It may be dusty or not getting air flow to cool it off. Also vacuum all your coils on back of unit

Freezer not getting below ) degrees vacuum condenser message keeps flashing

The condenser is the 'radiator' located under the unit near the compressor. If it's clogged it will cause this. Make sure, also, that the fan at the condenser is operating.

If you've not yet cleaned the condenser, do so with a vacuum both sucking, and then blowing, to clean it well. BE READY FOR A DUSTY MESS!!

The ice cube indicator is blinking

From the manual:

The Control Center monitors refrigerator and

freezer temperatures as well as the ice maker

system. If there is a temperature or ice maker

problem, you'll be alerted by a flashing

SERVICE indicator light. This same SERVICE

light will also flash if the condenser needs

cleaning. Before calling for service, please

check and see if your condenser area needs

cleaning. Refer to Condenser Cleaning,
page 22.

CONDENSER CLEANING

In all Built-In models, the condenser is located

behind the grille. First, remove the grille. Then

using a soft bristle brush, vacuum to remove

dust and lint from the condenser. NOTE: To

avoid bending the condenser fins, be sure to

vacuum in the direction of the fins (up and

down). Clean the condenser area every three

to six months.

CAUTION

Before cleaning the unit, shut the electricity

off at the control panel. When you

clean the condenser, wear gloves to avoid

injury from the sharp condenser fins.

Failure to clean the condenser could

result in temperature loss or mechanical
failure or damage.

Vacuum condenser flashes on and off, freezer side has warmed up But the freezer fan is still running to circulate the air.

It is telling you that you need to vacuum the condenser coil. if this fails to cure the warming problem then you my need a new condenser. compressors have also been know to cause this.

We have a flashing vacuum condenser message on our screen -- what does this mean?

It probably means that your condenser coils are dirty and need to be cleaned up. The condenser coils are the copper tubes in the back of the machine next to the condenser fan. If just vacuuming them up doesn't sufficiently clean them then you may want to get some coil cleaner from your local hardware store or whoever sold you the refrigerator.
If the condenser coils are already clean then you may not have enough airflow. Be sure you have 4 to 8 inches of free space behind the unit to provide adequate airflow.

My 650 flashes vaccum condenser i turned it off and did then turned it back on. a day later it flashes the same massage again does it have a reset or is there something else i need to do

Good day,
Cleaning the condenser is what the correct term should be. To vacuum many times does a poor job. I use either a compressed air tank with a hose, or else a push-pull vacuum cleaner with the hose and a crevice tool attachment on the end to blow the condenser clean.

Can create a mess at the time, but the condenser will be clean, and the purpose is to protect the compressor.

601R sub zero vacuum condenser notice

Your problem might be serious enough to warrant a repairman's visit. But this was my experience: An official Sub Zero repair company in NYC told me this: If the "vacumm condenser" light keeps flashing after you've opened and cleaned the condenser grill, then either pull out the plug for the Sub Zero refrigerator or turn off the circuit breaker (or fuse) in your house that leads to it, wait for some minutes and then turn back on. It is NOT enough to turn off the unit using its own internal on-off switch - it has to be totally disconnected from the AC. I did so, waited 15 minutes, turned back on, and it worked!! I had vacuumed the condenser grill twice but the "vacuum condenser" light kept flashing AND the refrig would go bonkers if set below 38. Now the flashing warning is off and it's down to 35. Great !!!
