Yes that is a common problem when registering additional handsets. Here is what you need to do to fix your problem, but it will delete your messages, greetings and settings, so make note of that before you perform these steps, and the pin will be set back to the default pin of 0000. Get all four handsets charged and near your base. Remove the power from your base, then hold the page/registration key down while reapplying power and keep it held down while the unit powers up and you count to 15 in your head. Now power the unit down, count to five, then power the unit back up. At this point, none of your handsets will work, and you need to re-register them one by one back to the base. When doing so, each unit will be assigned intercom numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 as you register each one. That should do it for you.
