Check owner's manual. The light issue should be covered. Is it possible the tub is over filled? If so the level indicator switch is not working right. I'd unplug for overnight to see if the electronics will reset. Service Technician may be needed.

It is best that it drains into a freestanding standpipe that connects to the main drain line out of the house.

from what you described there could be a few things going on ..:
1..one of the rubber rings that balance the drum is either loose or broken ..
2 the bearing from the drive shift is defective ..
3 the counterweight is loose from the screws ..
4 the position on the horizontal plan is not perfectly
5 one of the screws ...is loose somewhere and is vibrating only on high speed spinning ..
But usually is either the suspension rubbers or the counterweight being loose
