how do I disable my web cam mike
I use a logtech head set that broadcast better sound and would prefer to use the head set when cam is on
I have the same problem.

It also depends on which service you are using it with (msn, yahoo, stickam, etc). They usually have their own separate preferences. If the service you are using is flash driven, then you have to use the flash controls to choose the mic / headset.

Go to device manager and find your cam in sound & video
devices click properties and disable the mic
