We have a Samsung CLP-670ND laserprinter that gives a paper jam when printing from tray 1.

It sounds like the image stabilization/calibration has not been completed properly, remove 3 print cartridges ( any) switch unit back on and wait for display to ask for other cartridges, - insert when asked and allow the machine to complete the calibration, alternatively use the menu function and look for image stabilization under diagnostics and activate.

most likly hood is your exit sensor is faulty. The printer work in this way. if it does not print out all the document. it will print again. that is why you kept getting this same issue after a jam open and close door it will print again.

replace the exit sensor it will help.

Chek paper size (A4, letter...etc)in driver options and compare it whit your file settings (fo example - you trying to print something whit paper size A4 but printer expect letter format...etc)
Clean paper feed roller

Try to give several print outs by placing paper one by one (Not a bunch of paper ) in Paper Tray. if it prints perfectly prints then your should use higher quality papers with no scrach on paper. and after that still issue of paper jam then

Your printer need to to be serviced by technician. It looks like Paper Pressure Roller of Printer is damaged.

clean the rubber roller that pulls the paper from the tray with alcohol

I had the same problem and solved it.
At my printer it was a problem of the MP-tray (multi purpose tray).
There are two hinges which keep the open MP-tray in a horizontal position. One of this hinges was broken and I just received it.
Just try it.

In my experience, very rearly is the sensor bad, the sensor is a simple optical sensor activated by a flag. All this sensor does is indicate if there is paper in the tray or not. The most likely problem is that your paper feed roller,(the rubber roller at the back of the printer in the paper tray area) is embedded with paper dust as is very comon on these units. try getting some water or even better still some eucalyptus oil and clean the roller. try to print again and see waht happens.

• Also i can indicate that the Toner Cartridges are empty and need replaced with Genuine Samsung Cartridges
  

it is possible that is has problem on your printer's memory... try printing below 30 pages see if problems still persist.

Could be a page size problem.

A4 paper in the paper tray, but what page size does the PDF think it is?
