The screen on our GPS was cracked. Can this be repaired other than sending it in?

How and where can I get the screen fixed on a 350. I dropped it and now half the screen is black.

I have a cracked screen on my garmin nuvi 350, can this be fixed with out replacing whole unit? My nuvi is a registered product. any sugestions?

Given that these items are frequently stolen, and used in public places, I'm shocked and irritated that a hard-case carrier isn't included in the box that the GPS comes in. The hard-case would allow you to slip the GPS into purse or briefcase. Mine got a cracked screen when I slipped it into the outer pocket of my purse. Anyone know of a fix short of sending it in?

I bought one from ebay, it somes with instruction, with is really help. The ebay user ID I got mine from is nuvi2007.
