Razr issue with power

Ok, my razr phone is turning off randomly on it's own and when I push any button... after playing with it and trying to get it to work again, I figured out that I can make it stay on and function properly as long as I hold the power button the entire time from the time I turn it on. If I stop holding the power button it turns off as soon as I push another button. Any ideas??

replaced the flex cable and keypad on the phone
