Hello, The fuser or fuser roller is what actually bonds or melt the toner on to your paper. There is probably some type of temperature sensor, that senses the temperature of the fuser. If its not hot enough or just plain dead, it will give out an alarm similar to what your getting. You probably need to replace the fuser unit. You have a lower fuser and an upper fuser. You might be able to get away with just replacing the upper roller. The roller has a heating element inside and that's what probably defective. Hope this Helps Thank You for your feedback
Xerox put identity chips into their consumables and I presume IBM do the same which means even if the fuser is exactly the same your printer is going to reject it as a incompitable part
If your Xerox Phaser 6360 has either garbled
characters, inverted or upside down display, or no display, the control panel is most likely bad and must be replaced. Here's a video on how to do it and where to get it. Hope it helps!
That is a fuser overheat. Make sure that the paper path module is securely locked into place.
Look for a piece of paper wrapted in the fuser.
Or replace the fuser itself.
Is it getting thru the "pinch of the fuser and catching on the stripper fingers? If so clean the fingers, ensure they are not worn or tips broken.(Running sheets with dark lead edge can cause sheets to stick to rollers, try running blank sheets to clean up, if they get thru then try normal copies) If the sheet stops before entering the rolls more likely to be dirty entry chute, drive problem or sensor problem....need more detail
