I have a lg 42pj350 TV, i HAVE NO REMOTE, I am trying to switch from cable to antenna/air signal. Plzzz someone give me an answer to be able to do this so I can get local channels. I have antenna

Dont know your model but usually things work that way. If your remote is on cable box function then is used to change channels on your cable box. Once you switch remote to tv mode then channels function is used to switch channels on tv. Tv must to be either in over the air tv (antenna) or unscrambled cable channels if your tv is equipped with internal decoder

Just change the inputs. That's all.

NO signal is either you have not connected the rear antenna cable (RF Mode) this will receive air signal. You should switch to AV or HDMI mode and connect the receiver.

Look on your remote and see if it has an aspect button if does press until you get it back to A normal screen

After u hook up the antenna source like a digital or a roof antena to the tv.Used ur remote go into the tv menu.Goto SETUP,go down to CH.Pick AIR enter and scan for free air DTV channels.

You need to set the tuner signal source from CABLE to AIR for it to look for Digital TV signal from the AIR, the setup should be in the on screen TUNER SETUP menu.

If it's the original remote that came with the TV,you can't do it.Didn't Direct TV give you a remote?I would call them and ask about a remote.When I had Dish network,they provided one.
