Phone I bought on ebay

try online at mobile2mobile.net or unlockitnow.com or take the phone to a mobile shop and have it unlock there.

Did the phone show it was charging on the display? Was the charger firmly connected to the phone? The batteries will go bad after a period of time of recharge cycles. I have bought replacement batteries for my RAZR on eBay. Remove the battery and do a search on eBay for a NEW battery from a dealer using the battery P/N on the battery. I found a higher capacity battery for mine that lasts even longer on a charge than the original one that came with my RAZR. You can do a search on eBay for "RAZR battery". Look at the mAH rating on your battey, Try finding a replacement with the same or higher rating than your original. The higher the mAH rating, the longer it will last between recharge cycles.

we can solve it with a new software

you can request the setting from cingular for your phone and them save them.once this is done go to browser settings and set cingular as the default

check att/cingular to configure your GPRS/MMS on your phone.

change the battery and if that does not work take the phone and have the service center reflash the firmware on the phone this method should correct it.

If the Phone is Tmobile it will naot let you access the cingular browser because the phone setting for IP address is Tmobile. Use cingular setting and try again. Good luck

You need to flash the phone with a Rogers Monstor File to load all the settings for Rogers.

You simply need a new battery. Razr batteries are notorious for loosing life and the entire problem is the chargers you are using. You MUST have one with an IC chip that tells it when to stop charging otherwise watch how long you are charging it. Also when you have a new battery let it fully charge and fully die twice before you start normal charging this helps a lot.
