What sealant do we use to fix roof leak on 2015 Bullet 212 RBSWE trailer?

Clear GE Silicone adhesive is almost bullet proof for that but make sure the area you will apply it is clean and dry if possible. Clean your caulking gun after use as this stuff gets... well, just clean up well.

1988 jayco motorhome class c with water damage on the rear roof area ...trying to repair it &the drivers side ..sidewall ...put new screw covers on side rails & awning rails but not on the roof ....WHAT can I use on a metal roof to seal leaks ...the previous owners ( I just brought the unit) put a white roof coating on the roof but its turned black & its peeling in spots ....What can I use to recoat it to stop the leaks ?

Hi, you can use 6 or 12 inch uncured epdm rubber roofing flashing. it comes in a roll with a protective cover you peel. first clean the area with putty knife, wire brush, orbital sander etc.. use laquer thinner on a rag to with protective gloves and eyewear clean the area well. the uncured is then cut to fit, apply splice adheasive (Lowes) specificly for this job with a 3 inch roller to the area, then apply same to uncured strip. let dry to semi tacky test with finger tips if it doesn't smear its ready. hold strip up and over the area and carefully set it in place. use hand pressure to finish . finally use special lap caulking (lowes) applied to all edges of patch. your done and leak is gone. This uncured rubber is great...it goes over humps, around corners, and once it cures it doesn't come up. ive been in the roofing industry for 35 years and I also am a fellow RVer. and I used this method of repair all the time. this stuff comes in white or black. and can be found at any commercial roofing supply warehouse. good luck
