I need to replace the "Glow bar" in my 35 year old tappan gas wall oven. Is this something I can do without taking the oven out of the wall?

Hi, As long as the wires connecting the ignitor are long nough, you can do this while the oven is in the wall. They usually come out far enough. Make sure the oven is unplugged or the breaker is turned off. It is fairly simple to change.
Please let me know if this helps you or if I can assist you further.
