It has water supply but solenoid will not allow water to enter the mold.-------- You are correct, this problem is faced by many others too.The solenoid valve by times gets worn out and it sticks/clogs.The solenoid valve needs to be replaced. --------------- The water supply line is connected to the line to the solenoid valve. ----------- Replacing the valve should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

Why is my ice maker causing blocks of ice at the bottom of ice bucket ,also on freezer baskets ?

Sounds like there is a leak in the water fill line to the ice maker or the timer in the ice maker is defective causing the fill cycle to overflow the cube tray and then freeze into blocks in the freezer.

U line ice maker trips breaker

Something that powers up immediately, try any cooling fans or the solenoid. Easiest test is just disconnect anything non essential and turn on, if it doesnt trip, turn off, connect one thing and try againn. then connect one by one until it trips again and the last thing you plugged in will be faulty.

The icemaker fills up and shuts off, but the pile of ice is higher than the rear of the ice container, and ice keeps spilling over into the bottom of the freezer compartment when you pull the upper basket...

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly.

This is a symptom of the inlet water valve leaking by when it is supposed to be closed / off. Over time the diaphragm in the inlet water valve fails and the result is that ice will build up on the back area of the icemaker / it will start making the ice tray sheet with ice in the back and on the bottom.

Here is test you can do yourself to check for a dripping / leaking inlet water valve. On the back of the refrigerator there is a 1/4" plastic tube that connects to the round head ice maker fill tube.
1. Turn OFF the ice-maker
2. Remove the 1/4" plastic line from the ice maker fill tube and place it in a bucket or large pot. Leave it sit for 8 to 10 hours.
If there is any water in the bucket / catch pot after 8 to 10 hours ... the inlet water valve has failed and will have to be replaced. (not a hard task btw)
I had to replace my own refrigerator water inlet valve this year for the same reason.
If you need help locating parts just respond with a model number and I will gladly help you.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

I have a u-line ULN-WH95TP-03 THAT WILL FREEZE ICE BUT WILL NOT HARVEST THE ICE. I HAVE MOVED THE THERMOSTAT AS WARM AS IT WILL GO AND IT STILL WILL NOT HARVEST. IF I MANUALLY MOVE THE TIMER JUST A LITTLE...

Your thermostat is what advances your icemaker. You have 3 wires. When it calls for freeze then yellow(2) and blue/black(3) is closed. When that is satisfied the compressor and fan cycles off then the yellow(2) and red(1) is closed. This calls for the icemaker to advance. Red goes to icemaker, yellow is common, and blu/black is for the fan and compressor.
Hope this helps you. I would replace the thermostat
