The same happened on my oven. The only remedy is to change the display unit. A fairly simple job if the part is available, but best to weigh up the price and cost of repair versus a new oven.

It is a logic problem or at least electrolytic capacitors that dim the display too far. The display could be repaired if it isn't a ic (logic) problem if it is then you need the whole display replaced

Your membrane keypad is shorted.

Whether it's available as a separate part, assembly, or if you have to order a whole controller is determined by the model number, which you did not mention.

The clock seems to loose approximately 4 minutes over a period of 12 hours.

You haven't specified which Whirlpool model you have, so I can only give a general answer which would apply to the same fault on any device with an electronic clock.

The only fix is to have the timer circuit replaced.

It's a solid state timer and non-adjustable, but can become inaccurate if the oscillator crystal goes out of tolerance. Considering the billions of timer circuits manufactured, there are remarkably few which suffer this fault, so you've just been unlucky.

I replaced the light bulb, now it displays -F6- and pushing any button causes a humming noise.

I left the unit unplugged over night, plugged it back in the next day and still had the same problem.
