My blackberry 9000 bold has been call bared by optus. apparently they are under the impression that it could be stolen. but this is highly unlikely.

You have to visit nearest blackberry service centre to fix this issue. This is hardware issue.

press the phone button (green) and go to option. go to smart dialing and check the country code.

change it to unknown instead any specific country code.

if that doesnt help.... Check the vendor ID on ur phone to ensure it matches optus.. (even though phones cal be locked, they are technically still locked by design to the network they were made with.. but you can still use other sims in them)

Once you download the software from the optus website, double click it to install it. You should now see it listed in desktop manager under Help>About>Device software Tab..

open the back cover, there is a white soft thing under the flash cover. push it a little bit with a tooth pick or a sharp knife, it should increase the volume dramatically.
