I introduce my sim card and a message displays sim not permitted
It depends on where you bought the Phone from. If you purchased it from a private seller, then you may find that the phone is locked to a particular network. In Australia phones can be locked to Telstra, Optus, Vodafone etc...
You generally can get a phone unlocked by contacting the manufacturer of the phone, or the Phone Company itself, to get it unlocked.
NOTE: Unlocking a phone normally incurs a fee.
If you purchased the phone from a Dealer and the Sim card from the same Dealer, then take them both back to the Dealer and ask them to unlock the phone.
Otherwise, do a Google search on unlocking a BlackBerry Bold 9000 Smartphone.
1. Navigate to Google : http://www.google.com.
2. Type unlock Blackberry Bold 9000 Smartphone. Press <enter>.
I hope this helps. Regards,
