Printer driver printers i have got vista premium and my printer is not compatable worked great on xp its a epsom cu42x please let me know how to find a driver for it thanx eddie

You're right, it doesn't - complain to Epson - they just couldn't be bothered to produce a Vista-compatible Status Monitor for such an old printer! That's the way it is I'm afraid. If you love your printer, go back to XP.

Uninstall any software you have already installed and reboot before downloading and installing the Vista software and driver.

The printer hardware does not support vista, hence there no drivers for vista by lexmark .

This is a little tricky, and you may be up for a new printer. You see, when a new windows service pack or anew windows version comes out, manufacturers have to try and keep their technology compatable but sometimes it is not possible. Do not give up hope yet...you need to go to your manufacturers site on the internet and see if you can download a new driver that is updated to suit windows vista. If you find one, great. If not, you may have to go back to your last working operating system that the printer accepted or...buy a new compatable printer. Hope the driver works!!!
