Hello there:
this LE means this
LE
Locked motor error. Cause: The connector
(3-pin), male, white) in the motor harness is not connected to the
connector. (3-pin,female,white) of stator assembly. Or the electrical
contact between the connectors. (3-pin,male,white) in the motor harness
and 4-pin,female,white connector in the main PWB assembly is bad or
unstable. Or the motor harness between the stator assembly and main PWB
assembly is cut (open circuit) Or the hall sensor is out of
order/defective.

I have put mine on a surge protector. It is a computer after all. It is hard to say whether or not you have suffered damage to the motherboard. Trial and error testing to see if you have power at your outlet. Hopefully you can repower and all will be well.

OK, let's try this: Open the door and (with an empty washer) give the drum a hard spin (either direction) by hand. This uses the direct drive motor to in effect become a generator, and should light up the control. If control lights up only momentarily, then no line voltage is getting to the display board. I would suspect the line filter first. Take the top cover off by removing the lower screws on the plastic clips on the back side of the washer's top. Stand in front of machine and use the palms of your hands to sharply push back on the L and R edges of the top, about 2 inches, then lift top off. Track power cord into washer and on to a small rectangular box. (the line filter, which contain a non-replaceable fuse) Check if power is going in and comming out (heading for the main board) If power in but no power out, replace filter. After the filter, the power goes to the main board, which is in the top back Left hand corner. It has a plastic cover over it. When the machine is powered up, there is a red LED on the board itself which lights up.
Note: on a working machine which is connected to power, you can do the drum spin and the display board will light and remain on, without touching the power button.
That's about as much help as I can do from here. If you need more help, I suggest you contact an authorized LG servicer in your area. (find one from LG at 800-256-0000)
These are very good machines. I know of one guy, runs 10 loads a day, 365 days a year through his LG. Can't say he's never had a problem, but he is very satisfied and probably does more loads each year than that old Whirlpool did in 20.
