Assuming you washer is a front load type, does the drum spin freely, and do you hear any noise when spinning the drum with the power off.

SOURCE: Drum not turning (WFL 2260)

possibly the belt is off/broken? can you hear the motor turning when the drum is supposed to be revolving? If not supect the motor carbon brushes, or some other fault with the motor/and /or circiut, at best it may be a burned out wire to the motor

Most possible reasons that the door switch or timer unit is defective. The dishwasher should heat the water to about 55 C as the heating cycle starts. In these cycle, the dishwasher pauses after has filled with water and wait for the water to reach the temperature. If the water isn't being heated (because of a problem with the heating element or thermostat), after the unit stops at the heating cycle, it never continues. if you think that a user manual may help you more, it can be downloaded ($8.95) at url: http://www.download-manual.com/shop/Zanussi-FLE1416W-User-Manual-pr-8261.html

SOURCE: washing machine making a clicking noise.

The problem most likely is something stuck in the water port of the drain pump. My machiine would not empty once and I found a 12 penny nail that had made its way from the drum though the drain line to the the pump, where it was wedged against the impellers that spins to draw out the water through the pump. The pump is located in the front right bottom of the machine and accessible by reoving the lower front panel, It is held in place by 4 small screws and is connected to the drain lines. Disconnect the plug for the outlet, then disconnect the power connection from the pump. Disconnect the drainlines after removing as much water possible from the drum as the water will come out of these liines when you remove them. Remove the pump, open the cover to see the impeller and hopefully the bobby pin, nail, screw, or whatever else is stuck there will be visible and easily removed. Put the pump cover back on, replace the drain lines and screws, and reconnect the power connection to the pump. Then do a better job checking your pockets.

It was suggested that the pump had failed and taken out the programmer with it - expensive! Wife wouldn't wait, and bought new machine. Problem almost solved - anyone want an out of order washing machine?

Samsung dishwasher makes a loud buzzing sound when the water is filling. It pulses a couple times to start then is constant. It pulses again right before the wash cycle. Comes from the bottom left.

This is common. The noise is coming from the water pump. If it bothers you, you can try UNPLUGGING the washer or turn off the Circuit breaker first. Then you can remove the bottom kickplate on the front of the washer and clean around the pump. If there is a water filter scree, clean it out. Make sure there is nothing rubbing against the pump which could cause a buzz. Tighten all fittings and screws to eliminate vibration noise.

Started making loud "clicking" noise

Blocked pump, open flap bottom right, drain off excess water manually and remove pump filter. Make sure you get right down and have a look in at the impellor and give it a turn to make sure its free to rotate. You'll probably find a coin, button etc that is catching the pump impellor. When you start a cycle the pump engages for a few seconds and then the w/m takes in water, so if something is stopping the impellor rotating the w/m will not start.
Best of luck

The washing machine starts, then stops, then starts, then stops

The filter on your pump is probably clogged with lint and stuff. You have to remove the bottom front panel, 3 torx screws underneath. The panel will drop and come off. Drain off the excess water from the drain pipe you see. The white filter cover is right in front. Get yourself a plastic bag to collect water. Unscrew the filter cover and twist the filter out. Clean out all the stuff and put it back in carefully. Check your pump too, comes after the filter.

Starts then stops and won't re-start

Plug off the wall first. Check your outlet filters, clean out. It is located right in front bottom right of machine. Push one side of the small door. The machine will not spin if the filter is blocked. Refit carefully. If you have manual, check for filter cleaning. While you are at it check your pump area too. Position machine switch to "off" position. Re-start........
