I rear ended a vehicle in my 1985 Ford F150 manual transmission. I reset the inertia switch but I still can't get my truck to start. Any suggestions?

Was the inertia switch actually activated? If so the button would pop up. You need to determine whether or not there is a lack of spark or fuel causing the no start. You may have a defective inertia switch if it was activated and will not reset. You can unplug it and by-pass the wiring of the inertia switch by crossing over the wires at the plug to see if it will start

Is there a fuel cutoff switch on a 1985 ford truck?

There should be a cut-off switch on any electric fuel injection engine made by Ford Motor group. Just title a Web search with your year and model car and add inertia switch location. Many of the early designs were in the trunk and later moved to the front floor kick-panels.

My fiat ulysee wont start

Check to see if your vehicle has an fuel inertia switch. During any impact on a vehicle, the inertia switch shuts the fuel system down until the switch is reset. But if it is damaged, you should replace it

Where is the reset fuel switch

look under the dash on the driver's side in the kick panel, near the park brake linkage . There is a black switch body there, topped by a red indicator. This is the fuel-system inertia cut off switch

I change the fuel pump but it still say pump module off line

If this would be a Ford product, you may have to reset the "Inertia switch". Depending on the car or truck it can be behind or above the front kickpanels or rear cargo area or trunk. There is a button to press and it then connects the power to the fuelpump.

You can do a Websearch by putting in the vehicle year, make and model followed by Inertia sensor location. Like 1999 Ford F150 Inertia switch location. Then hit find or enter.

Vehicle was involved in a front end impact - Now vehicle won't start - Right after the accident tryed to start the vehicle and it wouldn't crank.

Very simple, Ford's use inertia switches. They shut the fuel off when you are in an accident. Just call ford and ask for the location of the inertia switch on your vehicle. You just push it in to reset it.

Good luck
